Your Task

STOP!!!!!

READ ALL OF THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE!

Do you have a question?

You will be asked if you have read the instructions below first. Make sure you do this! Year 7 students ALWAYS read the instructions first!

So what's it all about??

You have been learning about how to generate historical questions in class. Now is your chance to showcase your historical questioning skills.

Are you ready?

Your task:

  • Look at the image below. It is a skeleton found in Australia. It is very old. This is known as a fossil. Your job is to be an historian and work out the significance of this discovery.

  • You must write at least FOUR historical questions.
  • Look below to help you put your questions into categories. You can click on the image to make it bigger and easier to see.

  • Open up the powerpoint template (you can do that by clicking here) and write your questions into each slide.
  • Use the Research Links on the right hand side of this webquest to help you to answer the questions.
  • Type your answers into the powerpoint.

  • Write an essay using your answers about Mungo Man. This is typed on a word document and submitted with your powerpoint (on the very last slide).

  • OK, so you've finished the powerpoint and essay. Well done! NOW, you need to save it and email it to your teacher. MAKE SURE YOU SAVE IT WITH YOUR NAME.
      • EG: Bob Smith - Mungo Man
